Using LT / L2 + the button designated for each player, you can send the ball to anyone on the field at the start of a play. You can pass it behind the line of scrimmage as many times as you want. Beyond the line of scrimmage, you can lateralize it behind or to the side of you with LB / L1.
One of the somewhat hidden tricks in The Yard is the one timer. Soccer and hockey fans will know about this move. It is when a player immediately passes the ball to a teammate or to an area of the field as soon as he reaches it, as an instantaneous deflection, launching the ball towards his next goal. As the ball approaches your receiver, use LB / L1 + the receiver button for who you want to go, you can throw the ball once with a punch or a kick.
